Chateau Dassault 2015, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru ClasseRM380.00 RM304.00 ABV: 15% Grape varieties: 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon Critic Reviews Wine Enthusiasts: 93 Points Spicy, packed with dark fruit, rich chocolate and pepper, this is a powerful, sumptuous wine. Juicy fruit is beginning to shine through this generous exterior, promising a good potential and the likelihood the wine will be ready to drink from 2023. James Suckling: 93 Points Blackberry and fresh herb character such as basil or oregano. Full to medium body, chewy tannins and a long, intense finish. A young red with focus and energy. Drink in 2021. Decanter: 95 Points An estate in full expansion over the past five years. This is powerful, intense, rich, ripe and high in alcohol, but it has excellent balance, and the silky-soft tannins manage to accompany the smoked oak step by step. It needs time, but is elegant and well-extracted. For me, this is the truly accomplished modern face of St. Emilion. Wine Spectator: 93 Points This flirts with the exotic, showing blueberry, loganberry and açaí berry flavors backed by dark, slightly briary notes. Not shy with its toast, but the finish is polished and integrated.
