Tasting Notes:

A bright and lively red colour. Aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), red fruits ( cherry, gooseberry).

Truffle, leather and spice with ageing. Rich, this wine offers a nice arotimatic power and a fleshy texture. It opens with ageing, showing a robust structure.

Food Pairing:

Great with meats with relatively strong flavors such as roast beef, braised or in sauce, leg of lamb, game and grilled pork. Soft cheese : Vacherin, Brie de Meaux, Cîteaux…

This appellation is located in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, on hills overlooking the town of Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy.

The soil is composed of limestone mixed with clay.

Harvest by hand. Traditional vinification in thermo-regulated stainless steel. Pre-fermentation – temperature controlled cold maceration. Long fermentation during which pigeages and pumping over are performed. Aged in oak barrels for 14 months. 30% new oak and 70% oak barrels used between 1 and 5 times. The oak is mainly sourced from the Vosges region.
