Montes Alpha Merlot from Chile. A deep ruby red color, this Montes Alpha Merlot is generous in aromas. It presents various notes of fresh red berries, red plums, nuts, and dairy, while oak aging contributes a bit of vanilla and toffee. It is well balanced on the palate, with very smooth tannins, medium volume, and tremendous freshness that enables a lingering finish.

Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon, Chile. The complex nose offers outstanding aromas of ripe black fruits such as figs and blackberries complemented by notes of crème de cassis, while spices such as cayenne pepper appear over a back of dark chocolate, which masterfully envelopes subtle aromas of leather and tobacco. The palate with perfectly rounded tannins that trigger an explosion of the fruit on the mid-palate.

Montes Alpha Syrah from Chile. Deep cherry-red in colour, nuanced with violet. The nose is intense and complex, with ripe black fruit, fig, and spicy black pepper, intermingling with tobacco and meatiness, delicate notes of dark chocolate and a subtle touch of toast. The palate is well balanced and broad, with incredibly smooth tannins lending structure and weight on the mid-palate, leading to a long and elegant finish.

Montes Alpha Carmenere, Chile. Deep ruby-red with an eye-catching, violet hue. On the nose it’s complex and elegant. Pronounced, delicious aromas of ripe red and black fruit melt into inviting chocolate, mocha and brioche. The nose is well-balanced, with a little spice in the background. The French oak lends some toasted notes that complement the aromatic profile, while adding a slight sensation of sweetness. On the palate, it shows itself to be a wine of great Carmenère character and typicity, with rich acidity that is well balanced with the generous body. The tannins are velvety and give way to a long memorable finish.

Montes Alpha Pinot Noir, Chile. Bright ruby red color. The nose shows varietal typicity with fresh fruit, damp forest, jam, and a certain hint of flowers. The palate is electric, with rich acidity and light body, no tannins, and a long, pleasing finish.
