Tasting Notes:

Color: Ruby with garnet reflexes

Smell: Cranberry, cherry, red berries, eucalyptus, vanilla

Taste: Sour cherries, cardamom, white pepper, black chocolate. Fine tannins from grapes harvested at full maturity.

Serving: Serving at 18 degrees, at least 30 minutes after opening and decanting. It can be stored for up to 3 years, at a temperature of 13 degrees, away from light, in a horizontal position.

 

Food Pairing:

Beef goulash, mutton kebabs.

A bold assemblage like Alira Tribun can accompany various meals. It is a pleasant surprise next to the popular kebap, preferably crafted from lamb for a plus of personality. The red fruit complements perfectly a risotto with boletus mushrooms and vintage parmesan, while if we want to enjoy the spicy notes, it is good to associate it with a beef goulash or even with a beef bristle with red wine.

Values

Alira is an 80-acre boutique winery, located in Dobrogea, on the hills overlooking the banks of the Old Danube. We believe in respect for nature and quality at the expense of quantity. We do all this in the hope of providing a premium experience to every customer.

The name

The name ALIRA is a merge between the names of the localities of Aliman and Rasova where our vineyards are located and where the wine is born on the banks of the Danube. This is a special place where nature works in favor of man and the only ingredients missing to make a legendary wine were passion and skill.

Alira Tribun

Alira Tribun is thought of as a response to “Vox Populi”, an assembly of three noble red varieties Feteasea Neagră, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to thank from novices to refined connoisseurs. The wine is fresh, mineral, with aromas of red fruits, but also with slightly mentholated touches, reminiscent of eucalyptus. An interesting bet between wine that spent 3 months in French barrels, and wine kept in stainless steel tanks to keep the fresh fruit notes.

A daring assembly such as Alira Tribun can accompany various dishes. Surprisingly pleasant near the popular kebap, being the preferred version of the rams who has a personality. The red fruits complement a risotto with horseradish and aged parmesan, while if we want to enjoy the spicy notes it is good to associate it with a veal or even a veal sprinkled with red wine.
